Mobile phone recycling – save energy and gain cash

We’ve all seen the adverts promising big money for old mobile phones. As I recently had my handset upgraded, I decided to give mobile phone recycling a shot.

There are a number of benefits to this. For example, I now have a generous cheque to pay into my bank account. On a more altruistic view it also means less energy and fewer resources will be needed to produce mobile phones in the future.

Instead, many of the materials from my old phone can be recycled and used in the creation of new phones.

Perhaps these will, in turn, go to people who will recycle there old phone.
