Buying bin bags
I don’t know what it is about bin bags, but every time I run out and have to buy some more, I always end up buying the wrong thing. My kitchen bin is quite small, and last time I bought bin bags they were literally three times the size of the bin. I think they must have been industrial-sized – they were certainly far too large for my needs.
The time before that, I somehow managed to buy bags with built in handles, which were equally useless. All I want is standard-sized black bin bags, but somehow I keep missing them and getting the wrong thing instead.

New house designs are greener
It seems the environment, and taking better care of it, is our top priority these days. From how we get to work to the amount of recycling we do, we all need to be more aware of the effect we’re having on the world around us. Property developers, too, have been busy with greener new house designs.
There are several features which help, chief among them are perhaps the solar panels and wind turbines you see on homes. But there are also plenty of others, such as low energy light bulbs, water recirculation systems and low flush toilets which all make a difference.
