Purchase new homes for cheaper energy

Like many people, I recognise the need to be greener nowadays. We all have a responsibility to be as environmentally friendly as possible, because we’ve already done too much damage to the planet. A happy by-product of this is that household energy costs can be substantially lower.
Those who purchase new homes, for example, will be able to utilise features such as short-flush toilets and low energy light bulbs, thereby saving cash on electricity and water usage. If they are lucky enough to have some form of solar panels fitted, too, they can save even more in the long run.

New York flights – energy use in the city that never sleeps

Take New York flights at any time of day or night and there is one thing you will notice when the plane approaches the city. The amount of lights.

After all, it is not for nothing that New York is known as the city that never sleeps. There is always something going on, with entertainment options long into the night.

However, this means the city uses a tremendous amount of energy. That is why energy research is one of the main priorities in the city.

After all, the energy demands will need to continue to be met, even when non-renewable energy sources are cut.

That’s why the Department of Energy’s Brookhaven Lab in New York welcomes guest researchers from all over the world.
